Ane Brun, Popsinger
The Norwegian songwriter, guitarist and vocalist lives in Stockholm, Sweden, where she started her own independent record label DetErMine Records in 2002 and released the albums Spending Time with Morgan in 2003, A Temporary Dive and Duets in 2005, Live in Scandinavia in 2007. A Temporary Dive sold gold in her home country Norway after only 3 weeks and was released in March 2007 in Japan (Side Out Records). Ane Brun tours all over Europe extensively. She won the Norwegian Alarm Award for Best Pop Album 2005. She also won the Norwegian Spellemannsprisen (Grammys) for Best Female Artist 2005 and the Hit of the Year 2005 together with Madrugada. She was nominated as best Norwegian Act on European MTV Music Awards 2005, best Norwegian song of the century (Norwegian National Radio) and best Swedish Female Pop Artist at the Grammys.
